Summer Intensives
Hey Guys! I apologize for the large gap in posts and videos. I recently moved houses and have been very busy with both summer intensives and preparing for school. From June 14th to the 27th, I was at The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts in Torrington, Connecticut for the Pre-Professional Training Program. While I was there, I worked with the teachers Timothy Melady, Eleanor D'Antuano, Susan Szabo, Joan Kunsch, Karen Kopf, and the Studio's Artistic Director, Victoria Mazzerelli. I would recommend this particular summer intensive to dancers ages 10-14 who want to broaden their dance training and learn more about dance. However, Nutmeg also has summer programs for the more advanced dancer that are up to 4 weeks long for dancers ages 13-21 who need experience to prepare for a year round program, an audition or a new school or college they plan to attend. The intensives are relatively inexpensive compared to others that I have seen. The program I attended was $1,750 because I stayed with my aunt in Connecticut. Room and board at Nutmeg for the program was $3,350. The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts website is www.nutmegconservatory.org. Hopefully I will post again soon. Au Revoir!
